Updating your Locale in Payable Forms

It is important that your locale is set correctly in your User settings.

For most users, this should have been setup on first install. However, sometimes it was skipped or missed and it may need to be changed.

The combination of:
Your Country
Your Language
Your Currency

is used to determine how to look for the currency and numbers in your Form answers.

If you are seeing "Free Order," sometimes it is good to check to make sure these settings match what you want them to be setup as.

Step 1 - Refresh the Google Form In Edit Mode

Refresh the page and wait for 5-10 seconds. This helps ensure any changes you have made during setup are reflected.

Step 2 - Open the Payable Forms Add-On Menu

Select the Puzzle Piece, then Payable Forms and select ""

Open Payable Menu

Select User Settings

In the User Settings Window, you can minimize the sidebar. Click the blue "Get Started" button and then review your User settings.

User Settings

Keep in mind that these User settings are associated with your account, and are applied to any Forms you setup. If you change these settings, you may need to update the format of your money in others Forms that you have active.

Step 3 - Verify the Money Format

Click the "Looks Good" button in the window, and we will show you a sample of how you should format money answer options.

Step 5 - Refresh and Update

Refresh the Form in Edit mode again. Then, update your money format in answers to match your settings.

In the Payable Forms SideBar, we show you the format the Add-On will be looking for. You can open the Getting Started Section, and see the sample format.
